Rules & Regulations

Students / Parents / Guardians are specifically requested to note the below mentioned discipline rules and the code of conduct for the students.
The Management reserves the right of admission. In matters of admission, academic programmes, extra curricular and co-curricular activities and students discipline, the decisions of the management shall be final and binding on all parties concerned.
The Management reserves the right to expel any student on grounds of serious irregularity of attendance, insubordination, malpractice in examinations or any other act of indiscipline or misconduct. The decision of the management authorities in this regard shall be final.
The management reserves the right to increase the fee towards any course of study at the beginning of the subsequent academic years of a course, if necessary. Tuition fees and other fees should be paid on or before the stipulated dates failing which they will be removed from the roll of the college and will be readmitted only on payment of the late fee.
- Students must be regular in attendance for theory and practical classes. In case, the attendance falling short of 75% for each theory and practical, term will not be granted as per AICTE Rules.
- The students should complete all the term work such as Journals, Drawing Sheets, Workshop or any other assignment as per schedule of UBTER.
- Students and parents should specially note that if the student fails to complete the term work regularly and to the entire satisfaction of the Head of the Department, his/her term will not be granted and will not be allowed to appear for UBTER examination.
- Students must maintain punctuality while attending all the theory and practical classes.
- Students must carry his/her I-Card with him/her without fail in college campus, He/she shall wear uniforms on the specified days.
- Smoking is strictly prohibited in the premises of the institute.
- Mobile is also prohibited in the premises of the institute.
- Damage to the property of the institute like tempering with fixtures, fittings, equipments, instruments, furniture, books, periodicals, walls, windows, fans, vehicles etc. shall be viewed very seriously and might result in the expulsion of the guilty student/ students.
- Students are bounded by the rules and regulations made by the institute from time to time.
- The students should note that he/she is responsible to the authorities of the Institute not only for his / her conduct in the premises of the Institute but also for his/her general behaviour outside.
- The Students should not participate in any political and antisocial activities.
- Any violation of the rules or an act of indiscipline on part of students shall result in disciplinary action, leading to dismissal from the institution.
- Fee Receipts should be preserved of all the three years.

- Students are expected to read the notice put up on the notice board of the polytechnic from time to time.
- The polytechnic shall not accept any responsibilities for loss of any advantage of a student due to his/her failure to read the notice in time.
- A Student requiring leave must apply in advance to the Principal in the prescribed form and the same shall be counter signed by his/ her parent or guardian.
- Nobody will be allowed to contact a student in the class room or Laboratory without the permission of the Principal or Head of Department concerned.
- Institute-authority will expel him/her if he/she is proved to responsible for curbing ragging.
- Possession and / or use of intoxicating beverages, possession of illicit drugs, possession weapons is strictly banned on the campus.
